What to expect at Canberra Martial Arts & Fitness
Our programs are available for Kids 3–13yrs
What you get with the trial:
- 3 consecutive weeks of training in the trial
- A uniform pack – jacket, pants and belt – for Tigers and Youth
- Access to all of the classes for your child's age group
At CMA&F we offer a variety of kids martial arts classes to Canberra. CMA&F isn't a club where kids are pushed to either be a black belt or nothing else.
We believe that your child's self-defence journey must be filled with true learning – and that includes making mistakes and learning at a pace that makes sense for them.
Martial Arts learning is a culture, not something that can be picked up over-night. Our martial arts sessions to kids that align with Our Values, in the end we want to help you raise amazing people.
Questions before you book
How long does the trial run?
Three consecutive weeks of unlimited training, starting from your child's first class – not from the day you book.
What's included?
Every class for your child's age group across the three weeks, at either club. Tigers (5–8) and Youth (9–13) trials also include a uniform pack – jacket, pants and belt. Tiny Tigers (3–4) train in comfortable clothes.
Can they train at both clubs?
Yes. Kids classes run at Woden and Coombs, and the trial covers both. Check the class times above and come to whichever suits your week.
I have more than one child – do I fill in the form twice?
No. It's one form per family. Add all of their first names in the child's name field and we'll sort the rest.
What should they wear to the first class?
Comfortable clothes they can move in. Arrive 10 minutes early so we can introduce them around before class starts.
What happens when the three weeks finish?
Nothing automatically – there's no obligation to continue. If they love it, memberships have no lock-in and no joining or sign-up fees.
